I came to Ben in a bit of a pickle with my home buying situation. My home was going to be done with construction and ready to close in a month and a half. This is when the first lender I was working with suddenly told me they would not do a VA loan for me because I had to get my current home loan off my name to restore my VA entitlement amount to buy my second home (I am keeping both). They basically told me that since the loan was slightly more complicated than a traditional loan, they would only finance me with a conventional loan and that I would need to come up with a massive amount of money for a down payment and other fees. Ben assured me that he could make everything work and get me financed with a VA loan and in time to close. He worked with a preferred lender and worked his magic on getting everything done while saving me thousands of dollars. He really saved the day and I cannot thank him enough for helping me every step of the way. You would be doing yourself a favor by choosing to work with Ben. He is truly a brilliant human and amazing at what he does.

Our experience was great because: (1) Ben was there for us and super responsive throughout the process, from showing up to look at multiple houses with us to calling sellers agents to advocate for us to taking care of all the mortgage paperwork and being patient to explain the details to this newbie. And he had all the processes and paperwork set up efficiently and digitally so there weren't any hitches. (2) Being a first-time homebuyer made me feel very vulnerable generally, so I especially appreciated feeling like I could rely on Ben -- that he was honest and capable and would know what to do when and lead us through the process and get things done the right way the first time and for our benefit. (3) Trust was rewarded when everything went well with the loan. We got what other people tell us is a great interest rate and impressively low closing costs, and that despite there being some atypical aspects to our situation. I am really very happy with Ben's outstanding job. He made the whole process of getting a home loan fast and effortless for me.

My husband and I were happy in our 3 bedroom starter home with our 2 baby daughters. However, when my stepdaughter and mother eventually moved in as well; our perfectly sized home suddenly became crowded. We managed to deal with it for a few years but by winter 2017 we were fed up and started looking for a new home. We decided to build new and trusted the preferred lender of the home builder. We met with the lender and began building after she assured us we would be approved for the home we wanted. However after we’d paid our earnest money we didn't hear anything else from this lender until I finally got her to return my calls at the end of February 2018. She informed me that the “rules for her company changed” and now they needed a ridiculous amount of money down for us to move into the home. We were in need of a miracle and that’s when I found Ben. I must admit the name of his company pulled me in (LOL) Ben is a patient and intent listener. He took the time to work the numbers many different ways to see if he could reasonably move us into the house we were building. Ultimately given the history of our self employed tax returns he couldn’t make the numbers work for the home we were building. He suggested “If only it were cheaper”. When he said that a lightbulb went off for me. We didn’t HAVE TO HAVE the house we were building. We just needed the space for comfort! The home builder had some inventory homes that were cheaper and still accommodated our needs and wants. Since it was with the same builder our earnest money was transferable. It was still an uphill battle. There were record discrepancies from Hurricane Harvey, our current mortgage company was shady, but Ben worked tirelessly on every angle to get us a great deal on our home. He always readily responded to my calls, texts and emails and over the course of this process spent hours on the phone with us. He took the time to get to know us and we could see he was invested in seeing us win. Additionally he also encouraged our faith and prayer whenever we would seemingly hit a brick wall. He’s not just a good mortgage broker, he’s a good guy and that counts for a lot in our book. My family is grateful for the work of Ben and his team, and our family LOVES our new home. Should we move again or hear of any friends moving to a new home, Ben gets our highest recommendation. With him, Mortgage Miracles (really do) Happen! :-)

Great and fast home loans

Ben was amazing. He was so patient with us. We kept going back and forth on whether or not we wanted to buy and what price range we should be looking at. He was patient through it all.

Ours was a very unique and difficult loan due to prior financial difficulties. We had originally gone with a broker recommended by our son who had just financed a new house. She tried but was unable to work through the difficulties. Our Realtor suggested Ben who went way above and beyond, contacting multiple financial institutions who wouldn't work with us. Most brokers would have given up, but not Ben at Mortgage Miracles Happen. He persisted and finally found a lender to work with and it happened. Kevin has been responsive and available in helping us to understand more about 'reverse mortgages'.
